I obviously do not have a proper argument to justify watching this movie. I felt like seeing one of my favorite red hairs, and the odds decided for Emma Stone. I truly like her voice, and considering that this movie is a narration by her, it felt legitimate enough.

Some things are ok with this movie. For instance, Emma Stone’s fairy-tale like relationship with her parents is fantastic. Of course, it feels unreal, but unreal as in a model. It made me want to have that kind of relationship with my kids. It makes you want to have kids. For thirty seconds, but hey, that’s thirty seconds. They are funny, witty, awesome.

That’s probably it. There is a banal love story, banal friendship stories, banal growing-up stories. I guess it’s an interesting message for teenagers: keep it up, life is hard and gets harder. It’s a fair movie for teenagers.

Visually… not much. Emma Stone’s montage in front of her computer camera is really not worth noting. Nothing else is. I watched it a week ago and I have completely forgotten it (it was an eventful week, but still).

Unless you are 14 or less, I’d say, don’t watch it.
